dreadlocks shampoo

When I had my dreads started three years ago, I let someone talk me into using beeswax. I had done so much research into caring for dreadlocks, but I ignored my instincts and went with this person's advice. I was lucky - I didn't have any problems with rot or smelly hair, but I was mortified when, a couple of months ago, after a lovely hot bath, this crud started seeping out of my hair. It was wax: thick, grey, pasty wax. My dreads started becoming gummy, even when dry. The internet advised me I would have to cut my locks and start anew. That wasn't an option for me because my dreads are such a big part of my identity. I did not want to be a bald head. I saw a video on YouTube of someone demonstrating Wax-B-Gone dissolving wax in the palm of their hand simply using their finger. Intrigued, I went to the website. I was really impressed that Wax-B-Gone was handcrafted and made with safe, natural ingredients. I didn't want to put chemicals in my hair and I love the opportunity to support artisans whenever possible. I was reluctant, but I ordered. Wow! This stuff is epic. It smells fantastic and it made my hair super clean. The best part was that in two applications, all the wax is out of my dreads! I simply generously applied Wax-B-Gone, worked into into each of my dreads, let it sit for 20 minutes or so, and then rinsed it out. My bathwater was so ridiculously gross...but my dreadbabies were so happy! They feel better than they ever have - they are soft to the touch, healthy, nice and tight. An unexpected bonus: my scalp, which had been so itchy, miserable, and dotted with acne since I got dreads has stopped itching, cleared up, and looks wonderful. No more scratching my scalp until I thought it would bleed. I live in Canada, so the cost of shipping this product to me was really expensive. I'm a very frugal person, but I can honestly tell you that it was worth every single penny. Do not cut your dreads or try any other product before Wax-B-Gone! I generally don't write product reviews, but I had to say thank you to the creators of Wax-B-Gone and to encourage folks to give this a try! Blessings!
